Lunch at KFC, San Mateo, CA
Alexis had never had KFC before (well once, but it was cold) and she was craving something greasy, so we went to KFC. It was actually better than expected, and that says a lot, coming from someone who does not eat fast food.
Hot and Spicy Buffalo Wings $7
These were actually really (surprisingly) spicy. But they were a bit to breaded for my taste.
Popcorn Chicken $4
This was actually the best thing we ate (according to Alexis). Crunchy and tender, all at the same time.
10 piece Fried Chicken Bucket (all dark meat) $8
Giao got totally upsold on this chicken bucket, but it was a damn good deal. The skin is too gross for Alexis, kinda soggy after about 10 minutes. And overall, the chicken is way too salty.

(Unlike most fast food places, locations really do vary. For instance the one in the Sunset District really shines.)
