Lunch at Marnee Thai, San Francsico, CA
We were running some errands in the Sunset and it started raining, so instead of walking far, we just walked across the street from where we found a parking spot. It turned out that this method of finding was restaurant was fruitful, this time.
Spicy Deep Fried Tofu with Chili Garlic Sauce and Crispy Basil
Good flavor but far too sweet for us. We barely ate half of it. The crispy basil was great, however.
Roasted Duck Salad $8.50
The skin lacked crispiness and Alexis felt that the dressing was lacking in acidity, but the duck was tender and the rest of the ingredients were very fresh.
Whole Trout in Garlic and Black Pepper Sauce $12
Although a bit bony, the fish was moist and flavorful and the sauce had a nice crunch.
