Lunch from Wolfgang Puck's and Chef Gia's, San Francisco, CA

We were hopeful when we found out that our catered in lunch would be from Wolfgang Puck. He's known for his California nouveau cuisine. He's even an Iron Chef. However, we were tricked, and I am thinking that our friend Wolfgang would be a mite embarassed to have seen what was served to a by a restaurant that bears his name. Everything we ordered was horrifying in one way or another.

Chicken Tenders
These were actually the best thing we ordered, despite the fact that they came with no sauces or sides and probably were found in a freezer earlier that day.

Meatloaf
Seriously. This was how this dish was served. Just a sad slice of meatloaf and nothing else. And to add insult to injury it was inedible.

Spinach Salad
Mediocre at best. At least it wasn't previously frozen.

Chicken Salad
We didn't order this, but it was and extra and we decided to try it because what we did order ended up being tiny and bad. This was also very bad. Who makes a salad out of variations of bitter cabbage?

At this point Giao decided to go grab lunch #2 at our old standby for decent, cheap, fast Chinese food, Chef Gia's...

Chili Scallops with Broccoli
We didn't expect the scallops to be fried, but they were pretty good.
