Dinner at Home
Pork with Stringbeans
This quick cooking dinner was inspired by Chef Jia's--a crappy but good Chinese place close to work. They use stringbeans in almost everything.
-1 lb pork loin, cut in bite size chunks
-1 lb stringbeans, cut in thirds
-1/2 cup soy sauce
-1/4 cup chili garlic sauce
-2 packets Splenda
-2 tb sesame oil
-5 cloves garlic, minced
Marinate the pork loin chunks in the soy, chili garlic, sesame oil and Splenda for 1/2 an hour. Sautee garlic in a bit of olive oil over medium heat until just beginning to brown. Add pork and marinade to pan and cover. Cook for 10 minutes or so. Uncover and add the stringbeans. Cook until a think sauce has formed and pork is cooked through.
