Lunch from Schroeder's, San Francisco, CA
Schroeder's is a distinctly German place not too far from our office. This place is so German that you expect to be served by waiters in Leiderhosen. But instead, you are greeted by a large, old and somewhat terse German guy, who informs you that they are out of cheeseburgers. Since they are not out of hamburgers, it seems they've run out of cheese.

Shrimp Louie $12
Served with pickles and beets, this was certainly an interesting rendition of the salad. But the ingredients were fresh and thus, it was satisfying.
