Dinner at Home
Lime-Caper Baked Trout
If I had had lemons, I would have used them, but I only had limes, which were a bit bitter.
-2 whole trout, gutted and cleaned
-1 lime, thinly sliced
-3 tb capers
-salt to taste
-2 tb butter
Salt the inside cavities of the trout. Sprinkle the capers in the cavities and add slices of lime, and small pats of butter. Place the fish in a large baking dish, cover with foil, and bake on 400 for 25 minutes.
Serve with a green salad.
