Dinner at Jeanty @ Jack's, San Francisco, CA
We decided to grab a nice dinner after poker at work on Friday at a great French place downtown. It is usually packed on a Friday night, so it was a bit bizarre that we got in so easily.
Escargots $11
Buttery, garlicky and tender. The sauce it so good it makes us break Atkin's to sop it up with the bread.
Sweetbreads with Mushrooms and Corn $13
The sweetbreads were crunchy, the mushrooms meaty and the corn added a nice sweetness.
Cured Pork Belly with Lentil and Foie Gras Ragout $14
This was far too salty. They could have left the salt out because I'm sure the pork belly would have provided enough salt for the whole dish.

Quite possibly the best tomato soup ever. Very creamy and perfectly acidic. The pastry crust is perfect to dip in the soup.
