Lunch at Jillan's, San Francisco, CA
Another Sunday afternoon at Jillian's watching football in a testosterone filled bar. The food is ok and generally the service is too, although today was a bit spotty. I think they are a bit understaffed on game days.
Philly Cheesesteak $10
Giao, being from Philly, can attest to the fact that this sandwich was not a noble bearer of his city's name. There was far too much filler (peppers, mushrooms) and not nearly enough meat.
Calamari $11
The calamari was surprisingly tender for bar fodder, but sadly, there were no tentacles. The tartar sauce was nice, but the other sauce was far too sweet and snotty in texture.
