Dinner at Home
We decided to have a decadent little New Year's Eve dinner for ourselves...
Steamed King Crab Legs
We got these at Costco and they were really tasty. The meat was sweet and tender and they came pre-cooked so all we had to do was steam them to heat throughout.
Lemon Garlic Butter
1 stick of butter, 1 head of garlic (minced) and the juice of 1/2 lemon all heated on low until the garlic is crispy. A great dipping sauce.
Cauliflower Salad
This was a great alternative to greens-based salads. It was tangy and lasts for days without fear of wilt.

Lamb Chops with Garlic Lemon Sage Butter
These lambchops were cooked on medium high for 2 minutes on each side (all 5 of them). Then we took the leftover garlic butter and stirred in some fresh chopped sage and poured it over the top of the lamb chops.

-1 head cauliflower, cut in flowerettes and boiled until tender-crisp
-1 bell pepper, sliced
-6 pickled asparagus spears, cut in bite size pieces
-1 small jar marinated artichoke hearts, chopped
-20 cocktail onions, peeled and boiled for 10 minutes, then halved
-2 tb balsamic vinager
-2 tb olive oil
-salt and pepper to taste
Thoroughly combine the oil, vinager, salt and pepper and pour over all of the other ingredients. Mix well and let sit for at least 1/2 hour before serving, to allow the dressing to seep into the veggies.
