Lunch at Tlaloc, San Francisco, CA
Everyone at work really seems to love Tlaloc. For us, it's a little hard to find something to order that does not contain rice, beans or tortillas. However, if you are willing to pay a little extra, and try to coerce the counter guy to help you figure something out, then you can find a decent, low carb meal. The one nice thing about this place is the salsa bar, where you have about a dozen different fresh salsas to choose from. Service wise, they refused to take our AMEX, even though we know from experience that they do take AMEX.
Carnitas Plate
This is an appetizer usually served with tortillas, but Alexis ordered it with a side of guacamole and it was pretty tasty.
Shrimp Ceviche
This was composed predominantly of diced veggies, with a few shrimp thrown in, but overall, it was very tasty.
