Dinner at 1550 Hyde Street, San Francisco, CA
It was Dine-About-Town time again and some friends invited us to 1550 Hyde, a place we'd never been but which is apparently all about the organics. The food was decent, but didn't blow us away by any means.

Carmelized Fennel Soup $8
This sounded great in theory, but in reality it just tasted like a lackluster French onion soup. We could not taste the fennel at all.
Steak Frites $25
The meat was a bit tough. This was a mediocre dish.
