Dinner at Mafolie Restaurant, Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Pretty much everything on St. Thomas is closed on Sundays, but luckily, the restaurant of the hotel where we were staying, which is known for it's amazing views, was open.

Callaloo Soup $8
This soup was really good. The last time we had callaloo was in Jamaica. It is sort of like spinach, but with a bit more body. The soup was thick and spicy and very good.

Conch Fritters $9
The conch was a little chewy, but these were pretty tasty.

Cavatappi $19
This pasta was tossed with grilled Italian sausage, diced tomatoes, mushrooms, and crushed red chili and doused with a creamy herb sauce. It was very rich and Alexis could barely finish half after eating the appetizers.

Caribbean Lobster $38
Caribbean lobster served in the shell, stuffed with crab, and served with seasoned black bean and papaya rice. This was very good, but too expensive.
